Fans gathered at Graceland for a candlelight vigil in honor of Elvis Presley.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Lisa Marie Presley, her two twin daughters and Priscilla Presley stood on stage and thanked them for the vigil. Priscilla said it was the first time Lisa Marie's daughters were at the event and she felt it was important to show them what their grandfather meant to people.
People in the crowd made signs, memorials and sang along to every Elvis song that was played.
It all led up to Lisa Marie lighting candles for residents who walked the grounds and ended at Elvis's grave.
"I wanted him to experience the legacy of Elvis and see it in action. He has given me a lifetime of music and comfort and this is my way of saying thank you," she said.
Those at the ceremony said it reminded them of a time that Elvis brought people together.
