Lisa Marie Presley is seen heading to COVID-19 testing site in her first public outing in eight months after son's tragic suicide, as her custody battle with Michael Lockwood rages on

Lisa Marie Presley was spotted heading to a COVID-19 testing center in Los Angeles County, in her first public outing in eight months following her son's tragic death.  

The 53-year-old daughter of rock legend Elvis was seen stepping out in the San Fernando Valley last Thursday as she visited a testing site with a friend.

Presley looked comfortable in a blue flannel shirt, black sweat pants, black UGG boots, and designer shades. She had her hair pulled back in a ponytail and wore an eye-catching ring on her left ring finger.  

On her way out, the singer, who is in the midst of a bitter custody battle with fourth husband Michael Lockwood, indulged in a cigarette as she sat in the front seat of her car.

The outing marks a rare public appearance for Presley, who is still mourning the tragic loss of her 28-year-old son Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide on July 12 at her Calabasas mansion.

The mother-of-four has appeared to stay out of public view since, aside from the occasional court appearance for her drawn out divorce trial.  

Presley filed for divorce from guitarist Lockwood in 2016, after ten years of marriage.

While the lengthy legal separation was expected to be finalized in November, the two have continued to battle it out in court over their kids.  

On Tuesday Lockwood, 59, appeared in court as a judge heard his request for his estranged wife to pay his legal fees. Presley was not at the courthouse but tuned in via video link.

Last week, the rocker, who shares twin daughters with his estranged wife, was spotted arm-in-arm with his fiancée Stephanie Hobgood as they took their dog for a healthy morning hike in Los Angeles.

The guitarist was seen sporting a bushy gray beard, gym shorts and a tie dye top while stylist Stephanie looked sporty in pink leggings, a gray shirt and sneakers.


Earlier this month Presley had told the court she wished to 'move forward' with her life and officially cut ties with her estranged spouse.

She filed new court documents requesting that a judge officially declare her single - a somewhat common practice in long drawn out divorces - despite her ex's refusal to 'terminate their marriage.'

In the documents obtained by TMZ, she described a grim future for her relationship telling the court that there is no hope for the couple to reconcile.

She also expressed how she has been wanting to end her marriage since filing for divorce in June of 2016 but Lockwood 'refuses'.

Presley is now requesting a bifurcation, 'which means separating marital status from other divorce issues'.

If her request is granted she and Michael will both be deemed single in the eyes of the law while they hash out the details of their divorce.

YEAR AFTER LOSING HER SON TO SUICIDE, LISA MARIE PRESLEY IS LEANING ON HER DAUGHTER FOR SUPPORT.


For months, sources tell Star, the 53-year-old was overcome by her grief. “She would sleep or stay in bed all day,” says an insider. “She was a mess, and there were genuine fears that she didn’t want to live.” But now, thanks to a rock-solid support squad led by her daughter Riley Keough, Lisa Marie has started to heal. “Everyone around her breathed a huge sigh of relief when she finally started laughing again,” says the insider, “and making little jokes.”

No one is more than Riley, who even studied to be a “Death Doula” in order to help her mom. “I think it’s so important to be educated on conscious dying and death the way we educate ourselves on birth,” the 32-year-old said in March. For Lisa Marie, says the insider, that meant “helping her to come out of the darkness and talk about Benjamin’s death and how she felt about it. It was very healing.”

The mom of four also created special healing ceremonies. “She and her close friends sit in a circle, join hands, sing songs, and talk about their feelings,” continues the insider. “Riley’s helped give her the peace she needs to move on and helped change her thinking about death in general.” Which is exactly what her daughter wanted. “I’m very much like, yes, talk about it,” the Zola star recently reflected. “I want to talk about my brother.” rother.”

Lisa Marie Presley Pleads With Judge To Keep Divorce Records Sealed Following Ex-Husband Michael Lockwood’s Child Support Victory

Lisa Marie Presley is demanding her ex-husband Michael Lockwood's under oath declaration — filed in their nasty divorce — be kept from the public.

According to court documents obtained by Radar, lawyers representing Elvis' only child are requesting a series of filings made by Lockwood continue to be sealed. Presley does not want what is in the documents to be known.

The declaration was filed by Lockwood in September 2021, weeks before he demanded Presley cough up child support for their two kids. She also wants exhibits filed by his attorney to remain not accessible to the public.

The move comes weeks after Presley was ordered to pay her ex-husband child support. Lockwood has been fighting for money from Presely ever since she filed for divorce in 2016 after 10 years of marriage.

In October, he told the court Presley had more than enough money to pay him. “Presley has significant income for purposes of a child support calculation, due to continuing and recurring distributions Presley receives from her trust(s) and from the significant assets including her family business. Presley’s father was Elvis Presley, a world-famous entertainer and one of the most successful people in show business history. Presley is Elvis’ sole heir and as such is an owner of Graceland and interests in Elvis’ recordings, songs, merchandise rights, and life story rights," his motion read.

For years, Presley has claimed she is drowning in debt. In 2018, she filed financial documents claiming to owe $16 million to various creditors. She allegedly failed to pay her income taxes for years and dropped hundreds of thousands on credit cards.


Lockwood argued Presely was doing just fine with the money coming in from Elvis' estate. He claimed she was pulling in around $238k a month.

In court, Lockwood told the judge he only had $289 in his bank account and was living with his new fiancé and his mother. He admitted to paying expenses with his mom's retirement funds.


His filing notes he owes over $700k in legal fees and $3,500 for a music equipment rental bill.

Based on the disparity between Presley and Lockwood's income and assets, the judge ordered Presley to pay $4,600 a month in child support. A hearing has been scheduled for October to determine if Presley owes retroactive child support amount.
