All shook up! Sultry Lisa Marie Presley sports Gothic style black gown to perform her new single on American Idol stage

She may have lived in the shadow of her famous father Elvis for much of her life, but Lisa Marie Presley was clearly determined to show she is a singer in her own right tonight.
The 44-year-old put in a sultry performance as she took to the American Idol stage to perform her new single You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet.
She showed no sign of nerves as she sang the slow number, which showcased her deep throaty voice.

Watched by her mother Priscilla Presley, daughter Riley Keogh who sat with her boyfriend Alex Pettyfer, Lisa Marie seemed to enjoy herself on stage as she sang the single from her new album Storm & Grace.
And she looked striking in a billowing black floor length gown, silver jewellery and smokey eye make-up in a Gothic style ensemble.
Idol creator and Lisa Marie's manager Simon Fuller sat alongside Priscilla and applauded wildly after Lisa Marie sang her final note.

The star is in in Los Angeles to promote the new record - her first since 2005 effort Now What - which was partially co-written with English singer-songwriters Richard Hawley and Ed Harcourt in the UK.
The star said she is no longer concerned about being compared to her famous father who died back in 1977.
'At first I was really scared of it, which is why I was constantly fighting and having such an attitude about it,' she told Us Weekly magazine. 'I was really defensive because I would fight, not who I am or him, but just what was going to happen.

'But once I got that out of my system -- trying to fight to be that whole thing -- what came out of my heart just came out. And I embrace it wholeheartedly now because you have to sort of just go through things and grow, and, throughout that process, I think that was what ended up happening.
Lisa Marie is married to musician Michael Lockwood with whom she has three-year-old twins Harper and Finley.
'Having twins at 40 wasn't amazing on a woman's body,' she told Us. 'I eat organic. I watch proportions. As you get older, you really have to stay on top of things. I exercise, watch what I eat, all that stuff. I quit smoking five-and-a-half years ago, which probably helped with the not looking older thing.'

The star also admitted to being a fan of Idol, although said she could never follow in J-Lo's footsteps and be a judge.
'It kills me to see people getting torn open when they're putting their hearts on the line and trying to sing and getting judged,' she said. 'At first it freaked me out, but then as things progressed and I saw how it really did make these incredible artists shine, like Carrie Underwood, Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson. When they started to really have careers, then I was completely behind it.'
She added: 'I don't have it in me to want to or to be able to judge other people when they are trying to create or be creative or artistic. I don't know if I have the heart to do it. I would be more of an encouraging one if I did though. I'll tell you that.'
