As if the past couple of weeks haven't been enough of a rollercoaster ride, Michael Jackson's kids hit up Six Flags Magic Mountain this weekend with one of their newly appointed co-guardians.

No, it wasn't 82-year-old Katherine Jackson. This time, TJ got the nod.

Paris, Blanket and a sleeveless Prince spent their Saturday with the fun co-guardian -- hittin' up all the crazy rides at the theme park ... including "Revolution" ... the first rollercoaster ever built with a loop.

Paris Jackson Steps Out For Retail Therapy




Accompanied by the bodyguard, 14-year-old Paris Jackson was seen in Woodland Hills, Calif. on Sunday (August 12). Sporting short shorts, a white tee, and black leather boots, the only daughter of the late Michael Jackson was seen shopping on the sunny afternoon.

The following day, Paris and her brothers - Prince, 15, and Blanket, 10 – were photographed arriving at their lawyer’s office in West Hollywood.

The Jackson kids have had their fair share of legal issues lately.

After a whirlwind of drama, Katherine Jackson was recently reinstated as a guardian of her grandchildren and her son Jermaine Jackson has backed off on challenging his brother Michael‘s will.

MICHAEL JACKSON’s three kids are already household names as their family lurches from crisis to crisis.

And it won’t be long before Prince, Paris and Blanket are full-time showbiz stars like their late father, a source has told me.

The source said: “They are set to do the voices for a kids’ Asian cartoon hit that is being imported to the US. “Paris doesn’t share her father’s singing talents but has done some acting. And if the voice-over work is a success it will lead to more high-profile live action roles.”

The kids were kept locked away before Jackson's death in June 2009 but have been sent to an exclusive private school in Santa Monica, California, since losing their father.

And the insider said it won’t take much for them to quit the school for entertainment given half a chance.

He added: “The older pair in particular have no doubt that they want to follow their dad into showbusiness. “And they find school tough. “Kids can be really cruel.”

Today is Michael Jackson's birthday ... he would have been 54 years old ... and his kids are honoring his memory with a family trip to MJ's boyhood home in Indiana.

Prince, Paris and Blanket were spotted in Gary, IN yesterday ... along with their co-guardian Katherine Jackson and their aunt La Toya. TJ Jackson -- the OTHER co-guardian -- also made the trip.

Michael will be honored at the annual "Goin Back to Indiana" celebration in Gary ... which kicks off tonight with a candlelight vigil in front of MJ's childhood home.

The kids are also expected to throw out the first pitch at a Gary SouthShore RailCats baseball game this week.

Michael died on June 25, 2009. He was 50.

Michael Jackson's Kids Visit His Hometown on His Birthday



Michael Jackson's children Prince, Paris and Blanket made a pilgrimage to their father's hometown of Gary, Ind., on Wednesday – joining an emotional vigil at his childhood home – to mark what would have been the King of Pop's 54th birthday.

As a throng of fans gathered near 2300 Jackson St., Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10, reflected on the legacy of their father, who died three summers ago at the age of 50.

"We're here in Gary, and it's a new experience for us. People are real nice here," Prince told a local reporter. "It's amazing how much he was respected and loved."

Blanket added: "It's a good place. It's good to see it, the place where our dad grew up." The kids were also photographed on a roller coaster and are expected to participate in festivities in Gary throughout the weekend.

Paris, who has spoken out recently about her father's death, mourned him on Twitter Wednesday, writing: "thru my joy & my sorrow, in the promise of another 2morro, i'll never let u apart for ur always in my heart … happy birthday i love u daddy."

Asked at the vigil how she and her brothers are doing, Paris replied: "We've adjusted over the past years. And I think that coming here and seeing our dad's old house, and all the fans coming out, I think it's really sweet that they did that."

She wants people to remember him "as one of the greatest and nicest guys ever," she added.

This is the first time the Jackson family has been actively involved in planning the annual vigil in Gary.

"It all started here," the Rev. Jesse Jackson said Wednesday, pointing at the two-bedroom house, reports the Chicago Tribune. "[The Jacksons] didn't come out of Juilliard."

There was a news conference at the Majestic Star Casino to talk about events to commemorate the late King of Pop, who would have turned 54 Wednesday — but not all of the Jackson clan braved the crowd.

After sitting outside in an SUV for about an hour, Jackson’s two oldest children, Prince and Paris, finally came out to accept T-shirts and buttons from Gary Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson.

Jackson’s youngest son, Blanket, and his mother, Katherine Jackson, stayed in the SUV, however.

Freeman-Wilson sat in the SUV with the family for a little while and said afterward that she was reassuring the family that the city would honor their wishes.

“The kids are still shy,” the mayor said. “They didn’t grow up in the spotlight.”

Michael Jackson's kids live on allowance as his $600mln fortune is still frozen

Paris, Prince and Blanket, the children of Michael Jackson, were born with silver spoon in the mouth, but three years after their father’s tragic death they reportedly have to live ‘modestly’, on a mere $70,000 a month.
The planned trust fund for the King of Pop’s three children is allegedly empty despite nearly $600 million generated from Jackson’s music since his death.
While an army of lawyers is busy putting in order Jackson’s debts (the process could reportedly take up to five years), the singer’s teenage kids currently live on a family allowance controlled by the estate executors and overseen by a judge.
“The probate is still pending, and although almost all of Michael’s personal debt has been or is about to be paid in full, the estate is technically still in debt,” estate lawyer Howard Weitzman told the Daily News.

It’s unclear how much of the once unimaginable fortune could end up in the trust fund one day.
“(It’s) too early to speculate on any precise number for a value. It will be a substantial number, I’m certain,” Weitzman said.
The “Michael Jackson Family Trust” suggests that the singer's three kids share 50% of the trust balance, while the other half going to Jackson’s mother during her lifetime.

82-year-old Katherine Jackson, the kids’ guardian and co-estate administrator, allegedly hasn’t received her portion of the trust either and remains on an allowance.
The financial puzzle has driven a wedge between members of the Jackson family.
“To some of Katherine’s children, this is a shocking situation. They see on paper that Michael has made $600 million and cannot understand why all of it is not going to the family,” an unnamed source told The News.

While the fate of singer’s estate is being decided, his children continue to live life to the max in their mansion with private schooling and 24/7 security— reportedly, all at a cost of over $70,000 a month. Prince, 15; Blanket, 10, and Paris, 14 are due to get seven-figure sums when they turn 30, 35 and 40, the trust states.
Since Michael died, “multiple millions of dollars from (estate) earnings have been spent on the children and for Mrs. Jackson as well,” Weitzman told the Daily News

Michael Jackson's Daughter Speaks Out About Obama Vs. Romney

I've been reading the tweets of 14-year-old Paris Jackson and enjoying her humor, realness, and smarts.
Her tweets are often about her father (whom she fiercely defends), or about her own spunky persona ("I'm not on drugs, I'm just weird"), and sometimes about the culture
("premium rush was such a bomb movie ").

Once in a while, things get silly, like when she tweeted, "I absolutely love Kim Kardashian's hair" and Kardashian replied, "Thanks! Needed a change! Love your new color too!"

But occasionally Paris will go political, touching on a whole other color issue.

"I hate politics" she recently tweeted, "but at least I care about this country...if Obama wasn't president, American would be flushed down the toilet."

In another observation, she wryly noted, "Romney's slogan 'Keep America American' was the same slogan used by the KKK in 1922...smooth move bro".

Rock on, Paris. Keep America real.

By the way, I also happened to catch this clever tweet from a fan of hers:

"In 2009 we lost Michael Jackson. Now we've lost Neil Armstrong. We're running out of moon walkers."

Paris Jackson Defends Michael Jackson On Twitter and Formspring

There is a lot of controversy surrounding Michael Jackson, ranging in legal importance from his plastic surgery, skin color, alleged sexual assault, and his untimely murder. Despite the rumours that won’t die, I don’t hesitate before saying that the loss of a parent, for any child, is a horrific and tragic part of life. For Paris Jackson, now 14, her father was taken long before his time. While Paris and her siblings, Prince Michael and Blanket Jackson, struggled to recover from Michael’s murder, suspicion about drug abuse poisoned all of our ears.
Three years after his death, Paris takes to her Formspring account to tell an oblivious user just how important her dad was—and still is. Paris posted a screen shot onto her Twitter account. Below is the transcription.

Paris’ account is filled with pride, love, and, perhaps mostly, grief. It is undeniable that Paris still deeply mourns her father’s passing. As she should. Although Paris is now surrounded by a huge family (many of whom seem to be fighting for the late Pop Prince’s estate and custody of his kids), no one can ever take the place of her dad.
I think we get so caught up in Michaels’ contribution to music that we forget the people who knew him best. I hope that Paris can stay strong and continue to spread love and understanding, and will crusade for the reputation of the Michael Jackson she knew better than anyone else.
